Video: Watch Melissa Address the Crowd at May 1st Rally for Immigrant and Workers’ Rights

This Saturday, immigrant rights groups and labor unions united at a rally and march in Lower Manhattan, drawing thousands of participants.  At the rally, organizers and elected officials called for the passage of comprehensive immigration reform, labor rights and good jobs for all, and also denounced Arizona for the now infamous law that will criminalize undocumented immigrants.  Thousands also came out in cities around the country for immigrant rights.

Below is a video of Melissa speaking to the huge crowd in Foley Square.  We want to thank Council Member Danny Dromm’s office for sharing this video with us.
