Get on the East Harlem Bus for the Immigration Reform March in D.C.

Melissa and other local elected officials and organizations are bringing two buses from East Harlem to Washington D.C. in support of immigration reform.  The bus will be leaving at 6:00 a.m. sharp this coming Sunday and will return the same night.

Over 10,000 people from New York alone will be going down to D.C. this Sunday.  We hope you will be able to join us on one of the East Harlem buses and be a part of this historic action!

Seating is limited.  Please come to our office at 105 East 116th Street (between Lexington and Park Avenues) tomorrow between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or Saturday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to reserve your seat.  Tickets cost $15.

For more information, please call our District Office at 212-828-9800.

  1. By the time you get this message you would have if you have not already seen the flier issued by NYPD/Preceint 23 advertising an event to inform the community about “Gangs in NY”. The flier is in red, white and blue with tinges of yellow paper and features a man of color in handcuffs and another man of color with a clothed torso. So, I should join you to protest racial profiling in Arizona, and forget about racial profiling here!?
The reason why racial profiling is going on in Arizona is because racial profiling has been allowed to proliferate. What is done to me is done to you. This is the way the law of Maat works…
    No Justice, No Peace…
