Attention Puerto Rican-Born U.S. Residents: How to Request A New Copy of Your Birth Certificate

As you may know, all Puerto Rican-born citizens residing in the U.S. are now required to request new copies of their birth certificates.  There is currently a period of transition until July 1st, after which the old copies of birth certificates issued in Puerto Rico will no longer be valid.
