Letter Expressing Concerns Over Selection of Harold Ford as Keynote Speaker at Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators’ Conference

Council Members Melissa Mark-Viverito, Margaret Chin, Julissa Ferreras, Letitia James, Rosie Mendez and Annabel Palma have sent a letter to the Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators, to raise concerns over the Association’s selection of Harold Ford as keynote speaker at their annual conference, to be held this weekend, because of Mr. Ford’s congressional voting record on immigration.
